As was customary at the time, the dwelling houses contained a wood-fired oven inside, a pig pen, a water tank and a "toilet", the name by which the very archaic bathroom outside the house was known. The house has been properly restored, combining the traditional features with harmonious comfort. The wood-burning oven, the water tank and the "retrete" have been maintained and are at your disposal, allowing you to have direct contact with a reality of other times. The pig pen has been replaced by a terrace, but the "pig lighter" (the place where the pig used to sleep) has been kept
In this small house the silence is absolute, interrupted only by some birds, such as "the cagarros" also known as "pardela-de-bico-amarelosendo"
